  Ideal Home

Any of our followers that look on our website may recognise that Sask has been on here a fair few weeks whilst we assess her due to her nerves, she has taken longer to finally be ready to rehome… we now feel she is ready!

Saska came in to us along with her sister Gaga (who was equally as nervous and is currently in a foster home continuing to be assessed) via another rescue so their history is limited.

To begin Saska didn’t want anything to do with us, opting to go as far away as she can in her kennel so keep out of our way. It has taken a great deal of time, trust and patience but she now is stood happy and wagging when we approach ready and waiting for her walkies - not to mention she has turned in to a right little cuddler, she absolutely loves the attention!

She can still be nervy and sometimes feel overwhelmed if she is overcrowded or you approach to quickly whilst on the lead but each day she is making progress!

Saska is only 4 years old so has lots of energy for long walks and she is very clever so lots of intelligence for obedience/dog training!

We feel that Saska would do well in a quieter ideally rural home with no children, where she can become accustomed to a routine and build close bonds with her humans.

Aside from her sister, Saska seems to get on well with other dogs generally not paying too much attention too them. She could potentially live with another dog but ideally one to equal her nature and not be too over the top.

Saska has a very gentle nature, she is generally very calm and placid, she just needs some time to trust and blossom!
