  Ideal Home

Gaga is finally ready to get her paws in to a forever home! She originally came in to us a few months back but kennels proved difficult for her with all the changes, noises and different people to get to know so luckily we had the perfect foster home lined up where she has been since.. and she has come on amazingly!

Here is what her foster mummy has to say:

"Gaga will need someone with some experience with dogs who will see her potential, understand her behaviour and be prepared to work with her to gain her trust.

She walks beautifully on the lead, she loves her walks but doesn't need to go miles and miles however she does love to go on different walks to see new places and sniff new things.

She is good in the car, housetrained and she sleeps through the night. She does need someone at home most of the time, although she is getting better at being left for short periods she can show some signs of separation anxiety but this is less so if not confined to a small area/one room.

Gaga is still quite shy and needs time to trust and build a bond, she just isn't as trusting with men as she is with women though she has been in busy environments and coped very well, she will also say hello to people if they are calm and don't move quickly.

She is good with other dogs as long as they are not too boisterous though is she isn't playing with dogs just yet.

At times she can be reluctant to come to you to have her lead (work in progress) we think this is due to a fear of being caught. She also loves to be in the garden but can be reluctant to come back in, again this may be fear related.

once trust is gained, loves a brush, belly tickle and cuddle. Each day she is showing signs of being inquisitive more and more."

Given time, understanding an patience Gaga will make an incredible companion for someone.
