Golden oldie Ernie is ready and waiting to get his paws in to a new, forever home! Ernie came in to us from another rescue where nothing is known about his life so far.
Don't let Ernie's age fool you, it's clear nobody has told him that he is 9 years old! He is young at heart, lots of energy and bundles of enthusiasm for walks & adventures!
On the lead Ernie can at times be strong, specially when he first starts out, his excitement just gets the better of him but he does soon settle and walk nicely.
We will be looking for a dog free home for him as he has been a tad hit and miss with the dogs he has met since being here. Some he loves and wants to play with, others he doesn't seem to be a fan of.
In the playpen he loves to have a good mooch about, he does always check in with you and have a cuddle then off he goes back to investigating :)
Ernie would make a great companion for someone active enough to keep up with him, he isn't so much of a lap dog but definitely enjoys his cuddles and company!
