Our lovely girl Sally was rehomed from us back in 2018 where she was living happily until recently when we were contacted by The DogsTrust, as we were still associated with her microchip, to say they've had poor Sally signed over to them to rehomed as sadly her owner had passed away. Thankfully The DogsTrust took her in and kept her safe until we could get over to collect her 🙂
We are very much hoping it won't be long before we can find a home as she is wondering why her life has been turned upside down and isn't liking kennels, bless her, her cries are heartbreaking 🙁
As her owner is no longer with us we don't have any additional information about her such as what she was like in the home etc but we have re-assessed her so we have a good idea of the home she is looking for.
Sally is overweight which with a diet change and increased exercise routine will help her loose some much needed pounds, so at the moment she is only up for leisurely strolls until she regains her fitness then she might be more adventurous however as she is getting older we don't think she is going to be a particularly high energy girl.
We've introduced Sally to various dogs since being back and she isn't fussed, phased or remotely bothered by any of them! Sally could probably live quite happily with another dog as equally laid back as her but as she has lived as an only dog since being rehomed from us she would be just as happy being an only dog.
In the playpen she can be tempted by a bit of playtime but she isn't one to be zooming round at 100mph, more of a jog and a potter at the moment!
Sally is genuinely a beautiful girl with a beautiful temperament, we're keeping everything crossed she is soon back on a sofa, by a fire in her own home!
