Joey has come in to us from another rescue so full history is not known, although they have passed on that he has been cat tested and is also good with kids and other dogs. He has certainly been impeccably behaved around dogs here at the rescue throughout his assessment. He is very respectful and so could live with another calm gentle dog if energies matched. Having said that I'm sure he would be just as happy as an only dog getting all the fuss and attention himself.

Joey is quite a placid sensitive soul who can be a little reserved and nervous on first meeting but once he has spent time with you likes to be near you and have fusses but again quite calmly. He's certainly not a bouncy high energy dog.

Joey walks really well on the lead but has no knowledge of basic commands so could benefit from a few training classes in his forever home to get those nailed down.

At the moment he's not really fussed with toys and doesn't really know what to do with them he prefers to mooch around and sniff and stay near to you. He doesn't really do any mad zoomies or run round like a lunatic at he moment but that's not to say he won't get there once he settles in to his home with his new family. (watch this space) He may well turn into an active boy but we haven't seen that from him yet.
