At around 2 years old Gus has come into us from another rescue so no history is known and when he did arrive with us he was pretty shut down. It took a few days of sitting in with him, building trust and some singing was involved too before he would come out for a walk with his friend Frodo. Frodo has now been rehomed so he is having to be braver walking out on his own and he is getting there! He has started to meet new people but his default is to lie down.

We will be looking for a quiet home without young children where he can develop a bond with his humans, given the time to build confidence which may be helped with another dog in the home who is fairly calm and to give him all the training he needs.

Once he knows you he is the most cuddly, loving boy who enjoys belly rubs and fusses!
