Florence has come to us after being taken to a vet as a stray after suffering an attack from another dog, thankfully they got her healed up over a few weeks and we found her a place here in the FDR family!

When she first arrived it was clear she was very overwhelmed and had no idea what to make of kennels however she has made lots of progress!

Florence is still nervous and shy about meeting new people, so she will need some help with her confidence going forward however she has made friends with all of the staff here and loves them all equally! We do think Florence would benefit from a quieter home, one without young children around.

On the lead she can be strong at times, she isn't the worst we have had but long gone are the days of her refusing to walk, now she is loving it a little too much needing some reining in but nothing a few training classes won't sort.

Florence has been walked with various dogs since being here, though she doesn't really know what to do around them (perhaps a bit put off from her previous attack from a dog) but we have seen no malice or reactivity from her - if anything she wiggles at some of them! We do however think she is best being the only dog and getting all the TLC, 121 love and attention all to herself without the worry of other dogs.

Once she knows you she is the most affectionate girl, she loves to have cuddles and give lots of kisses! Hopefully we can find her a home for Christmas and make all of her wishes come true as number one is to get out of kennels, she hates it bless her!!
