Our gorgeous girl Darcey is ready to start her new life, she found herself in a pound no claimed and found a place here with us with a promise we would find her a new home!

Since she has arrived she has been utterly golden, amazing with every person she has met, lovely to be around and just a sweet temperament!

In the playpen she loves to play ball and will happily bring it back to you, sometimes she likes to hold on to it other times she will drop at your feet to throw again then when she is all done she will lie down and have a chill.

Darcey is very affectionate, loves her fuss and cuddles, she's also a fan of the Lurcher leg lean to get the best bum rubs!

We have walked Darcey with other dogs without an issue, she has walked passed and had dogs walk passed her kennel all with a waggy tail but she is 50/50 on who dogs she likes but as a whole she doesn't really like them up in her face and in no way is she going out looking for trouble or even looking to actively interact with another dog so we do feel she is best suited as an only dog.

On the lead she walks quite well, though she can have the occasional pull when a sniff takes her fancy but she just needs a little correction and she is back by your side enjoying her walkies. We are looking for a relatively active home for her, she does still love her walks and being out and about so will need more than a stroll around the block but equally she probably wouldn't want to be trekking mountains everyday, she's a nice moderate energy level girl.

We do think Darcey would make a lovely companion for someone looking for a medium sized dog that still likes to enjoy walking and adventures.
