Dilly arrived with her sister Abi. She has been with us a few weeks now and is approx 7 months old. She came into us from another rescue so no history is known. She is a large young crossbreed with a gentle and sensitive nature. She can be a little nervous around new people and certain dogs, but is loving and eager to build bonds once she feels safe. As Dilly is a young dog she will need an active home/lifestyle with someone who has the time an patience to give her.

She has been doing well on the lead but will benefit from some training and guidance to help with her basic commands manners and confidence. Her new family should be committed to giving her time and patience helping her feel secure in different environments and situations. The ideal home for Dilly would be a calm space with a secure garden where she can safely explore and relax.

Dilly would be a great fit for a family environment and could be comfortable living with older dog savvy children who are able to respect her boundaries and give her space when needed. A quieter household without too much commotion would help her settle faster.

Dilly could happily be an only dog where she has all the attention she needs and wants but could potentially live with another canine companion who was calm and well socialised. She is a super sweet young pup and we think with a family who has experience of shy or anxious dogs would be really beneficial.

Dilly needs a loving home with gentle handing, patience and understanding. With the right care and attention Dilly has the potential to blossom into a loyal affectionate companion.
